A lawyer, a scrivener and a court counselor. He was born in 1852 in Leszno. In May, 1900, he was elected to the Prussian Chamber of Representatives for Wschowa-Leszno District. At first he belonged to the Association of Freethinkers (Freisinnige Vereinigung), and then to the People’s Progressive Party (Fortschrittliche Volkspartei). He served as a deputy until his death on May, 1914. He was also a member of the District Council and the board of the Lawyers’ Chamber of Poznań (Posener Anwaltskammer).
