The Germans ocuppied the townlet in 1939. In 1941 a ghetto was established there. In August 1941 young Jewish workers were taken to the labor camp in Bieżanów. In August 1942 about 400 of the ghettos inhabitants were executed. Youth was deported to a labor camp in Szebnie, others were deported to the Bełżec death camp.[1.1]
