A mobile booth, typical for the Sukkot holiday, arrived in Katowice on Monday. The idea was proposed by Shalom Stambler, a rabbi from Chabad Lubawitch community. The rabbi met numerous students from Adam Mickiewicz High School so that they could get familiar with this Jewish tradition. He explained to them that Sukkot was the time of joy and being together. “The Festival of Booths shows that people are different but, nonetheless, should be with each other. Only in this way we will be successful”, he stated. Shalom Stambler has been travelling through Poland for several days. He emphasizes that he receives only positive reactions and people are curious of this unusual building.
