Science Festival in JHI

The 14th Science Festival is taking place in Warsaw. As a part of the Festival, the Jewish Historical Institute offers lectures, discussions, children's workshops and guided tours.

On Saturday and Sunday, September25 and 26, there will be discussions led by Marian Fuks, Jan Doctór and Helena Datner. Moreover, the workshops for children, "Painting the Torah", will be held.

Accompanied by experts from the Jewish Historical Institute one can become familiar with the Jewish Warsaw. On Saturday, Boguslaw Jędruszczak will guide the tour round Warsaw ghetto. In addition, Jan Jagielski will guide the tours "Judaica from Praga" (on Saturday) and "Cemeteries talk about life" (on Sunday).

First time, the Institute organizes also activities for cyclists. There will be a bike tour along the boundaries of the former ghetto. In the six points on the route one will get cards with pictures, texts and maps.
