The History of the Jews in the western lands of Poland has been unexplored for many years. However, the history of the Jewish community in Lower Silesia, Opole region and Lubusz Land is as interesting as the stories of Hasidds from southern and eastern Poland. The book " Śladami Żydów. Dolny Śląsk, Opolszczyzna, Ziemia Lubuska” (”Jewish Footsteps. Lower Silesia. Opole Region. Lubusz Land ") will enable you to learn about the history of Jewish communities in these areas and to get know the locations of synagogues and cemeteries. Teachers, tutors, educators, and cultural animators can get the publication, issued by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, for free.

Orders should be sent to: ecelinska@jewishmuseum.org.pl. (Note: The Museum does not cover the costs of delivery.)
