Tzadik Poznan Festival
Tzaddik Poznan Festival is scheduled to commence on the 30th of July. The program includes many concerts and movies as well as a spectacle. A number of artists have been invited to attend. American guitarist Tim Sparks, French accordionist Yves Weyh and Polish musicians: guitarist Raphael Roginski, violinist Maciej Filipczuk and vocalist Lena Piekniewska are due to entertain. We strongly recommend that you avail of the opportunity to enjoy the concert of Tim Sparks, who will perform in Poland for the first time. The guitarist will take you on a musical journey with traces of Jewish traditions of the Middle East through the Balkans and Iberian Peninsula to America of the 20s. and 30s. In this era, Klezmer music was revived.
“Rondele – lullabies to the eternal dream” has its premiere during the Festival. This spectacle is an attempt to resurrect the life of the former Jewish district. The performance includes lullabies composed and arranged by Lena Piekniewska and Maciej Filipczuk. We anticipate a truly spectacular performance!
