Chłodna (Cold) Str.

The second event of the street game Tikkum Olam, organized by the Jewish Community, took place in Warsaw on the 10th of July. The participants of the game followed ‘Jewish footsteps’ in the city centre and Muranow district. They were learning the Hebrew alphabet, guessing tzadik’s riddles and names ciphered in the Turkish language. The most difficult task was to deliver some ice from Cold Str. to Warm Str., as the temperature on the day was more than 30 degrees! The street game provided an opportunity not only to get know secret lanes of Warsaw, but also to feel the atmosphere of the pre-war city.
