Special Concert in Krakow Philharmony

Jewish composer Joseph Achron (1886-1943)

Sinfonietta Cracovia has a pleasue of inviting you to the special concert which is to take place in Krakow Philharmony (Zwierzyniecka Str. 1) on 2nd/3rd of July at midnight. The orchestra conducted by Gabriel Chmura is set to play the opuses by Jewish composers and the tunes inspired by Jewish folklore. You could listen to The Hebrides Overture op. 26 by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Divertissement op.34 bis by Sergei Prokofiev. Moreover, hardly ever played Violin Concerto No. 1 op. 60 by Joseph Achron will be the culmination of the program. This event is a part of the 20th Jewish Festival in Krakow.
