We have a great pleasure to invite you to Rabbi Tanya Segal’s lecture concerning the culture of Jews in Central and Eastern Europe which is due to take place in Jagiellonian University (Collegium Paderevianum, Mickiewicz Av. 9, room 2) on the 8th of June at 18.30.

Tanya Segal is the first woman who became Rabbi in Poland. From 2007 to 2008 she gave services in Beit Warsaw. From 2009 she has been working in Beit Krakow. Both organizations are associated with Reform Judaism movement. Segal finished Rabbinic studies in Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Jerusalem. She also graduated drama and philosophy in University of Tel-Aviv. In Krakow she organized few theatre performances: Melody of Silence (2008), The secrets of my grandmother (2009).
