The International Film Festival “Jewish Motifs” has ended

On 10 May 2015, the already eleventh edition of the International Film Festival “Jewish Motifs” ended.


The main prize, The Golden Warsaw Phoenix and the money prize of 15,000 zlotys funded by the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz
and POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews was awarded to Ronit Elkabetz and Shlomi Elkabetz for the film entitled The Divorce Trial of Viviane Amsalem.

The film presenting adventures of a woman who has lived in separation from her husband for years and who wants to end her marriage has already received an international acclaim including a nomination to the Golden Globe Award for the best foreign film.

The Prize of the Audience was awarded to the film In Silence, directed By Zdenek Jiráský.

The special awards of the Festival went to Sławomir Grünberg for the film Karski and the Rulers of Mankind, Lina Chaplin for Voices from the Booth, and  Rafael Lewandowski for the film Minkowski / Saga.
