The Museum on Wheels” has hit the road again

The mobile exhibition prepared by POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews will visit 22 cities. It will be accompanied by workshops, lectures and concerts.

“The Museum on Wheels” has been operating since 2014. For a few days, a pavilion with an exhibition describing important places connected with the local Jewish community is set up in main points of the cities. The exposition is accompanied by a number of educational and cultural activities.

 “The Museum on Wheels” invites visitors to interact, share their memories and discover the forgotten heritage. The touring of the exhibition and participation in activities carried out by the animators are free of charge.

“The Museum on Wheels” has set out on this year’s journey with a new, enhanced offer of activities and workshops. Apart from the exhibition, also the exposition “They risked their lives — Poles who saved Jews during the Holocaust” will be displayed at the pavilion. The exposition was launched in 2013, at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

  • 21 – 23 June 2015 – Czeladź
