Young people from Israel and Germany visit Kołobrzeg

From 19-25 August, 2013, Kołobrzeg hosted young people from Israel and Germany. Their visit was organised under the third edition of the  ‘Young Journalists Bridge Nations, Cultures and Generations’ International project.  The project united forty-five attendees, including thirty-one students from Berlin, Kołobrzeg and Ra’naana near Tel Aviv.

Young participants met each other online beforehand. Now, they have an opportunity to get to know each other better and talk face to face. They are working on a book which will show problems of young people from contemporary Poland, Germany and Israel. The students go on trips together. They have already visited Berlin and are going to spend a few days in Gdańsk and Kołobrzeg. The project’s participants will also visit the castle in Bytów and take part in workshops organised by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. The project has been carried out in three stages: Berlin, Kołobrzeg and Israel.

Mikołaj Kopernik Comprehensive Secondary School in Kołobrzeg is hosting the young guests.
