The ceremonies will commence at 5 pm with a panel discussion during which the invitees will talk about Polish-Jewish relations as viewed from the perspective of Holocaust survivors and Holocaust rescuers.

Afterwards, at 6:30 pm, a religious service for Holocaust victims from the Podkarpacie region will be held. The Mayor will read a list of identified Jewish Holocaust victims. The names of Poles who were killed will be read by Lucia Retman from Haifa, a Holocaust survivor. At 7:15 pm, a prayer of John Paul II in the intention of the Jewish people will be recited at the execution wall. All gathered will light candles symbolizing human lives.

During the ceremonies, Lucia Retman will talk about her own dramatic, moving Holocaust experience. Lucia Retman has been invited by Wacław Wierzbieniec to testify to the truth and speak about the time of the Nazi occupation, which she and her family spent in their hideout in the house of Zofia Pomorska from Lubaczów, who was posthumously awarded the Righteous Medal for her help. Additionally, during her stay in Jarosław, Lucia Retman will also meet with PWSTE students to share her life story with them.
