‘Adlojada’ Jewish Culture Days in Szczecin
March 19th will open Szczecin Jewish Culture Days ‘Adlojada’, during which all events will be staged at the Secesja Café and in the bases of the National Museum (Old Town Hall and the Chrobry Embankment).
‘Adlojada’ Jewish Culture Days aim to present Jewish culture from the perspective of the city and the entire region. Presentations that will be held as part of this festival will deal with traditions, customs, Jewish cuisine (co-organized by the Jewish community), Jewish art, literature, Jewish history in pre- and postwar Szczecin, Jewish cinematography, philosophy and religion. All events will be accompanied by concerts of Jewish music, mostly the Klezmer, organized in co-operation with the Academy of Arts. Two concerts of the Klezmarzec project are scheduled for this festival, the first of which, Special Project, will take place on March 19th, at 8 pm, at Rocker (a group concert of Bubliczka and Chorzy na Odrę music bands), followed by the second one, which will be staged on March 21st, at 7 pm, at Rocker Wilukas.
