This remarkable performance takes the viewer to the unique Jewish world of tales, history and magic. The third Shabbat meeting is attended by sorcerers, preachers, scholars and tzadikim, who spin a yarn about Jewish history. This plot is intertwined by beautiful songs, which fit in the current theme of the conversation. Each story is interwoven with folk life wisdom. The traditional cabbala will also appear in the play, differently presented to the viewer at each of the meetings. ‘Opowieści Chasydów’ illustrates Tzadiks’ wisdom and teachings that were circulating and passed on orally in the past. It was not before the late 19th century that they were finally written down.

The tickets are available at the Adiutor Center, 12 Pod Krzywą Wiezą St., Toruń
