The Days of Judaism in Gniezno
The Center for European Judaism at the Institute of European Culture at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and the City of Gniezno have the pleasure of inviting everyone interested to the Gniezno Days of Judaism, which will take place from January 16th-23th. The program offers such events as Jewish music concerts, a scholarly conference called ‘Polski obraz Żyda’ (Eng. The Polish image of the Jew), a Jewish cuisine evening and Rabbi Sacha Pecaric’s lecture entitled "Nowy przekład Tory na język polski. Trudności i wyzwania". (Eng. The new Polish translation of the Torah. Difficulties and challenges).
January 16th, 2012, 7 pm – a concert of Jewish music at the Gniezno cathedral
January 18th, 2012, 9 am -- the ‘Polski obraz Żyda’ scholarly conference, a lecture hall at Kolegium Europejskie im. Jana Pawła II in Gniezno
January 23th, 2012, 10 am – Rabbi Sacha Pecaric’s public lecture called "Nowy przekład Tory na język polski. Trudności i wyzwania"
