The New York Rabbi Sacha Pecaric will deliver a lecture

The Museum of Lodz and the M. Edelman Dialogue Center have the pleasure of inviting you to a lecture entitled Księga Psalmów – dialog chrześcijaństwa i judaizmu. Co nas łączy, co nas dzieli? (Eng. The Book of Psalms – a Christian-Jewish dialogue. What unites and what divides us?), which will be delivered by the New York Rabbi Sacha Pecaric.

The Rabbi Sacha Pecaric from New York is a philologist and theologian by profession. He completed his rabbinical studies in New York and graduated from the department of philosophy at Columbia University. He has also studied in the Prague. From 1997 to 2004, when he headed the Krakow branch office of the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation, he founded the Pardes Association, which publishes religious theme books. He is the co-author and editor of the first Jewish Torah’s translation into Polish after the end of the war. In 2011, upon his initiative, a virtual Pardes Yeshiva was established, which organizes weekly lectures about Judaism. Presently, Rabbi Pecaric is working on the translation of the Book of Psalms.
