The work contains the descriptions of synagogues of Dolny Śląsk in: Bierutów, Bolesławiec, Bolków, Chojnowo, Dzierżoniów, Góra Śląska, Jawor, Jelenia Góra, Kamienna Góra, Kłodzko, Kowary, Legnica, Lubań, Lubin, Lwówek Śląski, Strzelin, Środa Śląska, Wałbrzych, Wińsk, Wrocław and Żmigród. The work is complemented by photographs and drawings made by the author, as well as scans of the photographs and postcards of unknown origin from the first half the 20th century.
The work comes from the archives of the Polish contest Historia i Kultura Żydów Polskich for the high school students which has been organized since 1993 by the Shalom Foundation. All the works are available in the Foundation seat.
