Z ważniejszych organizacji syjonistycznych działających w okresie międzywojennym w Wadowicach wymienić należy organizację kobiet Zjednoczenie Kobiet Żydowskich WIZO (Women International Zionist Organisation – Międzynarodowa Syjonistyczna Organizacja Kobiet), liczącą około 150 członkiń.
Oprócz działalności oświatowo-kulturalnej prowadzono przy niej kursy haftowania w celu zawodowego przygotowania dziewcząt.
