Stara synagoga w Wadowicach powstała już w 1830 r.
Była to drewniana bożnica, którą wzniesiono w pobliżu dworu „Mikołaj”, na przedmieściach Wadowic, tzw. Groblach. Nie wiadomo kiedy uległa zniszczeniu[1.1].
