He was born in 1858. He was a trader, a community worker and a philantropist. He was a member of Rada Szkolna Okręgowa and Rada Opiekuńcza Wyższej Szkoły Realnej Zgromadzenia Kupców m. Łodzi. Moreover, he was a member of a council, the owner of the house at 223 Kilińskiego St. and a chairman of synagogue's board. Before World War I statred, he was a very respected trader in Łódź - he owned a department stroe and a wool  warehouse at 4 Mikołajewska St. He run also charity secretly, e.g. in Żydowskie Towarzystwo Niesienia Pomocy Głuchoniemym „Ezras Ilmim”. After the war, he decied to stop working because of his helath condition. In spite of this fact, he was still a community worker at the Łódzka Gmina Żydowska'a board, e.g. as a representative of Łódzki Komitet Centralnego Podziału Funduszu Amerykańskiego. He died on 03.10.1938 in Łódź.[1.1]]
