Local places of interest: duke's castle (13th - 17th c.), St. Peter and Paul Gothic church (14th c.), Late Baroque monastery complex and a Jesuit college (18th c.), remains of town walls with Głogowska Gate and and the tower of Chojnowska Gate (14th c.), town hall (18th c.), Knights' Academy (18th c.), the Palace of Silesian Abbots (18th c.) and tenement houses (17th - 18th c.).
