A forced labor camp on Karczówkowska street
Since 2 September 1942 to 20 August 1944 near the ammunition factory "Hasag-Granat"on Karczówkowska street, there was a Nazi forced labor camp. There were about 500 people of Jewish descent. When they were working, Germans tentatively led executions on them. In summer 1944, when the Red Army assumed the offensive, the prisoners were deported to the concentration camp in Buchenwald[1.1].
