The Jewish cemetery in Ciechanowiec (Sienkiewicza Street) was founded in the 19th century. The last burial took place in 1918. During World War II, Germans devastated the cemetery.

In the area of 1.4 hectares no tombstones have survived. A monument in memory of the Jewish victims of the Holocaust has been erected here.
