In the first cemetery the oldest tombstone discovered was from 1870. According to other sources, the oldest tombstone there dates back to 1648. The area, which people refer to as " the land behind the church ”, is built-up and has blocks of flats. Between two blocks there is a hillock with a matzevah with legible inscriptions and several fragments of stone – probably also tombstones. An anonymous Boćki inhabitant claimed in a conversation that there are many matzevahs underground.here and also in the vicinity This person used to operate a digger during the construction of the blocks in the area.
