Bielsko-Biała is an important railway junction in southern Poland. It has convenient rail connections with most Polish cities, and with Slovakia.
The S1 expressway, connecting Bielsko-Biała with the border crossing in Cieszyn, runs through the city. Partly modernized domestic road Nr. 1 connects Bielsko-Biała with the Śląsk and Dąbrowa agglomeration.
A public sports airport, with a 660-meter grass runway, is located in the Aleksandrowice district.
