24.11.2009 – Along the Jewish Trail of Andrychów
The Society of Andrychów Enthusiasts organized an encounter with Jewish culture in commemoration of burning the Andrychów synagogue 70 years ago.
The event, organized by the Society and the students of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie High School, took place on November 24, 2009, between 10 AM and 2 PM. Apart from a stroll through Jewish Andrychów and a game of dreidel for children of all ages, the organizing party planned a field game with tasks to be performed by middle and high school students.
An information brochure authored by Ms Ewelina Prus-Bizoń and entitled “Spacer andrychowskim szlakiem żydowskim” (“A Walk along the Jewish Trail of Andrychów ”) was issued on this occasion.
