Modeled on German reform synagogues and erected in 1885, the synagogue had 600 sitting places and a woman’s gallery.
The Nazis burnt down the building in November 1939.[1.1]
A memorial plaque was unveiled on the 65th anniversary of the synagogue destruction (November2004).
On the 70th anniversary of the burning of Andrychów synagogue an encounter with Jewish culture took place. [Nov. 2009, more>>]
